Yellow designer dresses, shout out to fabulous yellow!

I love yellow designer dresses for events & evening wear. Women who have a lil’ bit of an olive skin tone stand out & shine in this color. Yellow has been a favorite color of mine since forever and I used to always paint my bedroom yellow growing up. Yellow is a color of positivity & energy. Trim it with red or silver, you have a winner. I once designed a beautiful yellow dress which was inspired by a pair of vintage Sony mini travel speakers which were …yellow & silver!
Most importantly, last night on the Golden Globes Red Carpet, my all time fav dress was yellow and worn by Jennifer Lopez. To me, this was most elegant. The designer was Giambattista Valli. He is fabulous! My second choice goes to another yellow silk dress which showed a lot more skin, worn by Emily R. I was not too crazy with the silver strip running down so long in center front, & the dress was too high cut in the front which led to many “ooops” panty photos. Her dress was designed by Reem Acra. I did like the unexpected details in the back, similar to something I’ve designed in the past..:) Silk & evening wear definately definately go together!..More yellow I say!.xx
